Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Baking Dish:
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
Mix the Eggs and Cream Cheese:
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Use a hand mixer or whisk to blend them until smooth and creamy.

Cool and Serve:
- Let the casserole cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- Make-Ahead Option: This casserole can be prepared the night before. Simply follow all instructions up to pouring the mixture over the bread, cover, and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, preheat the oven and bake it as instructed, adding an extra 10-15 minutes to the cooking time.
- Vegetable Variations: Feel free to substitute or add other vegetables such as mushrooms, zucchini, or kale based on your preferences.
- Bread Choices: Using stale or day-old bread provides the best texture, as it absorbs the egg mixture without becoming too soggy.
- Cheese Choices: Experiment with different types of shredded cheese to find the flavor combination you love best.
